Oscar sores?

My oscar has a small scratch about midway in his body on the top, it looks like he has scratched himself on the tank or something as its a small pink cut? What can i do about it?

Oscars heal fast, I wouldn't worry about it.

keep up with the water changes and keep an eye on infection, otherwise it will heal on its own

They heal rapidly, just keep the water good and watch. Just keep your eye on it and if it gets slightly worse, let us know.

Thanks guys, i added a tiny bit of salt to to the water and did a small wc the cut is not so pink anymore and seems to be healing! he/she is just not as active as it used to be

yeah just keep a real good eye out for infections otherwise it sounds like you got it handled
