So my Oscar (chief) has been kind of a lazy Oscar for a few months now, but it’s gotten worse. It’s come to the point where he has stopped eating, and he let me pick him up out of the tank without him struggling. He shares a tank with a docile Jack Dempsey and some guppies that he surprisingly doesn’t want. the Oscar is about 10 inches and the jack is 6” . The tanks a 55 gallon with 2 75 gallon HOB filters and im Gonna get a big canister for him.

Might need a tank upgrade. That’s very small for the 2 of them. It would explain him being pouty which a lot of oscars do.

How long have these fish been together in this tank? Others can chime in but the biological load in that take should be higher than expected. Oscars are notorious pigs.
How old is the O?
