I have now idea what I have and havnt been able to sex them.
doesn't matter either way since the eggs were gone this morning . I have to other 2 other oscars hopefull one of them is male.
The easy way to see what sex they are is tease them with food so they are swimming near vertical like in this pic.
Then start grabbing some shots trying to get the vent area.
Then you can zoom in in editing to really see what sex they are, and no stress or anything like that to the fish. So you can see here, Toni has one small hole and one bigger. That tells use she is female. Male have two simular sized holes.
So it's obvious you have a female in there, eggs and all. We just got to see if any males.
Ya all I did was hold some food above the water. Moving it closer and away to get her to try and jump for it but don't actually get them to jump. If not working just move the food out of sight so they go back to normal swimming and try again to get them to go vert with the food.
