i think ive decided to swap some of my fancy goldfish into the new 4ft tank, rehome the rest, and get one tiger and one albino oscar to go into my 6ft tank. are there any other fish i could house with them? i really like jaguar cichlids but am not sure if they would get along or if it would grossly overstock the tank.

Id stay away from a Jag. First off if you get the other fish as Juvies you might have to grow them out so they dont get eaten by the OScar-Im assuming by the 6ft your tank is 125 gallons? In that case 2 maybe 3 of the following would work-Snook, GT, JD, Cuban, Salvini, Male Con, Kraussi, or a mid-sized Pike. Stay away from fish like Umbee, Dovii, Jag, RD....
i have a blue texas and a red devil and a midas with my oscar, oscar is about 10 inches rest are 6ish they get along fine. texas beats up on the red devil and midas. oscar is left alone and he is really mellow, sometimes the texas forgets who runs the tank and is put back inline
