i was reading online and cory cats caught my eye and i think they are cool... and they stay small... i bought 4 green corys and have them in a 20g now with a bunch of tetras... but i want to put them in with my oscar... the corys are small but fast as hell... would i be able to move them into the bigger tank with the oscar or should i just leave them where they are?

If it were me, I would leave them where they are at. The only fish that I find compatible with Oscars are Pleco's. (Considering tank size and all) The bigger the tank the more selection of tank mates you have available for Oscars. Mine are both in 55 gallons and the only other fish in with them is a pleco in each tank. And one large snail that they toss around like a golf ball.

leave them where they are, he will think of them as food, he WILL kill them and may die him-self trying.

thanks... ill just leave them where they are at then. thanks for the advise

by leave them where they are did you mean let your oscar eat them all? YOU'RE CRUEL!!!:(

if your ''O''(OSCAR) killed the pleco or pleco's then leave the cory's were they are.. cory's grow slow and will only be killed by your ''O'' . not all ''O'' 's are peacefull giant's some are just bully's .. I had a 10'' snowflake (albino) and it eat everthing I tryed to place with it even my first TSN , that was a $45 feeder that was'nt mean to feed anything ..

depending on the size of tank 55gal or bigger , your ''O" need's room!! baby. you have one of if not the smartest type cichlid know to man, one that can be trained!!.. they love to glide in opean water ,it is needed for the mental well being of the animal.. and beside's these boy's are messy at dinner time most cichlid's are but oscar are true pig's with fin's ...
heavy filtration is a must in order for this fish to acheive full size 16'' plus. it's rare that they get bigger

keep your ''O'' solo bro .. IMO :D

if you must abtain another tank 125 gal plus and place a second oscar or other type of S.A. cichlid and divide with egg create if nessesary..

egg create can be found possibly at your hardware store or home depot , most likely found at a lighting supply warehouse or dealer.. cut to fit

You'd think with all your posts Ross, that you'd get a cooler fish name then a PACU. lol
