Oscar Tank

So I have two little oscars and they will have a 135 gallon home soon.

Just want some opinions on what other fish I should stock with them I want a peacful tank no one fish running it or chasing each other around because that stresses me out lol.

I love Green terrors and think most of the time there ok as long as there smaller then the other fish but I have had a bad experience with one who attack every fish but it was in a smaller tank so.....

any ideas on tankmates greatly appreciated

Severum, grow them together since babies and you have a better chance of them getting along but of course it depends on their personalities. At least mine's ok. One sev and two oscars would be fine in a 135 with good filtration and tank maintenance IMO.

135 is already about just right for 2 oscars, but you could try some silver dollars.

If you want a peaceful tank, I wouldn't add any more cichlids. Maybe a catfish if you like them?

Senegal bichir and/or silver dollar school almost any synodontis catfish

Pictus cats, bichir, opaline gourami/gold gourami, clown loach

Silver Dollars were my first thought. If you go this route, make sure you are over filtered though, because both Oscars and Silver Dollars are very messy.

Another thought is a small group of Clown Loaches.

If you want cichlid tankmates that are relatively peaceful try classic favorites like blue acaras or other large acaras. There is never a guarantee with cichlids when it comes to aggression but blue acaras are pretty peaceful, as would be something like steineys
