How long has the tank been setup?how long haveyou had the oscar? What are your readings for ammonia nitrite and nitrate?
Sometimes an oscar will do that when theyre freaked out but best to check your water to be sure

the tanks been goin a lil over a month, i've prolly had him about a month, ive try aquarium salt thats what everyone recommended, but knowones picking on him, and i know this is bad but i havent messed with checking ammonia or nitrated, i mean i know they do that, he does it when i have water chages put he only sits in te corner and crys for prolly 10 min, hes been laying around for a couple days now

could be new tank syndrome and the fish is succuming to stress, cant say for sure without knowing more about your water.

well i just did a 50% water chagne so the ammonia and everything should be fine, could it be worms?? maybe compaction??? i have a sand tank he could of swalloded some

just continue maintaining water parameters. update us soon

You should really invest in a test kit. That way you can test your tap water too. If there are excess nitrates or ammonia in your tap water or if it has some other contaminate in it doing a 90% water change wont help. you will just be exchanging bad water. You need to cover all your bases. Good Luck!

Almost definitley a water condtion, test your water and I'm sure you'll find what the issue is. Do you add a dechlor/chlroamine remover like PRime? I would actually suggest dosing with prime right now, it will help if it's a nitrite or an ammonia issue...When you add water for you water changes, is it the very close to the same temperature of the tank water?
