my tiger oscar usually hates and attacks my bichir on sight but since I added a few peices of lava rock my O seems to try to push my bichir towards the rocks and somtimes rubs it's body alongside my bichir
does anyone know why this might be happening?

your O is just showing your other tank mates who's the boss.....take all fish out and rearange the decore.

that makes sense I keep try to attach java fern babies to driftwood and he/she rips them out and puts them back where they used to be so i'm not sure if it my O would sulk because it seems to like the way things are lol

I wouldn't take out all the fish though, seems like a lot of stress
aggreed, but if he added the bichir to the tank after the oscar established his territory then that fish will get picked on.

Oscar is telling the bichir:go hide in the rocks,if I dont see you I wont have to kill you:ROFL:

wouldn't doubt it. I'd take the O out, rearrange things, and replace the O after the birchir has established himself, they may never get along though. I don't keep any plants with my O anymore; they just always ended up floating on the surface.

Hilarious.

I am constantly putting leaves back on my fake plants only to have the plant dismantled within a few days.

O's are so funny.
