Oscar white mark

Hi all

Just had a look at my Oscar and he has an open wound on him. At least I'm sure it's a wound as there is a bit of flesh hanging off. He also has 3 similar wounds near his back. His fins are also looking a bit tattered. Besides this he is eating like crazy and colours are looking bright. Checked other fish and all okay. I've seen no other fish attacking him. Any help would be appreciated.

Just keep clean water and add a little aquarium salt and he will be fine

Thanks for your help. Could this have been caused by the bogwood perhaps ? maybe injured him self ?
