i have A:
oscar
3 clown loachs
pike chiclid

would a bichir be ok??

I would say yes. The stocklist in my sig has been successful. With different fish behaviors, there are never any guarantees though.

your bichir size....?

i say DON'T!

unless your bichir is really significantly bigger than your oscar n ' pike.....

NOooooooooo

I bought a young oscar, maybe 4'', and everything was fine until he got around the 8 or 9'' mark. Then we'd look over and see him attacking our fish. I wasn't overly alarmed - he didn't have teeth, but the more he kept it up the more I started to worry about jaw strength. He crossed the line when he picked up my Ansorgii and tried to carry her across the tank like she was a rawhide bone he wanted to chew on. At that size, he was still the shortest fish in the tank, but he picked on them anyway. My oscar had to go byebye... I wouldn't let it mess with my bichirs for one more minute.

hummm,
well my pike, dono what kind. he has black line done both sides. rircle on tail, and is yellow ish.

my bichir would be 8-9 inchs ( 20$ @ local pet store )
my oscar is aprox. 4 - 5 inchs

mine causes no problems to my loachs or pike. . . . . . . . . eats out of my hand, and doesnt ruin my decor like my buddy's does to his. . . . . .

i have a birchir with an oscar, theyre small guys now but they get along well. no problems...ive noticed as long as oscars are alone (oor smaller) than other fish they dont have as much agression.

only problem would be the pike...try to get a birchir bigger than (or same size) as the pike if you can but it may be more expensive.
