Oscar with hole in the head

I have an albino oscar with signs of hole in the head. The water quality is great I do frequent water changes and have plenty of filtration. I started treating yaesterday with "Hexout". I also added salt to the water. He will only eat frozen krill and beef heart. Is this diet cuasing problems and if so how can fix it.

yep, vary your Oscar's diet....add veggie pellets as well. keep up with water change's.

He will not eat anything else. he will lay on the bottom and pout. Is there any suplliments that I can add while I try to convince him to eat his veggies.

starve him, he well eventually eat the veggie pellets

If you want my advice-vary his diet and keep nitrates below 10 until he gets healed then keep then 20 ppm and under to prevent it from coming back.
