Thanks! Thats making me feel a little bit better about getting an O.

I would really like to hear from the people who have Oscars and birchirs together, too. Any tips or advice is much welcome!

introducing the oscar to the birchirs maybe be better as then they are not being doped into his mouth.. so basically put the o in after the birchirs are in there and then stand by with the net is all i can say its just a case of trial and error and the smaller the oscar is the better and letting it grow up with the birchirs.

What i have decided to do, since i dont really want to risk my birchirs, is to put them in my 10 until they get to be 6" and a little bit rounder, and put the oscar in my 55 to get used to the other fish. From what ive seen of the birchirs' growth, they will get larger than the O pretty fast. I will have to make my 10 birchir-proof first though.

if the O is in the 55 for too long it will think it owns the tank and will kill anything that goes in there (happend to me a couple times) but yea just letting you kno
