Okay, I have a 180g with 2 Oscars (both about 10"), 2 JD's (probably 6" and 7"), 4 Tinfoil Barbs (about 4.5" each), and a common Pleco about 9". I have a 12" Pacu that is by himself right now in a 100g and I would like to move him into the 180g. Do you guys think this would work out? I don't think the Pacu would give the Oscars a hard time, but I'm concerned about the JD's and the Barbs since they are smaller. All of your input is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

not sure because of a bigger tank but in my experience JD and Oscars are a really bad combo. i had two Os and a much smaller JD but the JD still beat them up bad

I don't think you should. The Pacu might get aggressive because of the lack of space. They grow up to 3ft and require 280G or more. Not to mention 2 Oscars and 2 JDs with a common Pleco is already pushing it in a 180G.

Better thinking of buying new (bigger) tank for pacu. 180g wouldn't be enough for all of them. Not to forget, Oscars will grow a couple of inches too.

Thanks. I'll just leave things the way they are for now. I'm actuallly trying to get rid of the Pacu, so if there is anybody in central Cali that wants him, he is yours for free.
