I have had my two Tiger Oscars for a year now form when they were small, since I got them I have read alot about Oscars and plants not going well together and even my LFS said the plants wont last. My Oscars have not destroyed my plants at all, they will pull them out if I put them where THEY dont want them but once I put them back somewhere else they leave them alone. Has anyone else had any luck with plants in with their Oscars?

you're taking the right approach ... many cichlids will uproot plants if they don't like where they are, and ignore them in another spot ... I've seen it in all my tanks, where they will re-arrange one area, and leave another completely alone
