Oscars and waterchanges

I'm thinking about getting a baby oscar to grow out and sell later on because there isn't really much movement in the middle of my tank as my bichir's don't really swim much.I've been doing every other day 90% water changes for a while now and my bichirs are used to it,wondering if Oscars are sensitive to large/frequent WC. (Tank size-75g)

Since oscars are riverine fish, they live in constant 100% water changes in nature.
The biggest problem most oscar keepers have, is not doing enough water changes to keep nitrate down to safe levels.

When I had an Oscar I did 75 to 80% water changes every three days with no issues at all.
