oscars as tankmates?

I've had oscars before, and while setting up my new 180 I'm feeling drawn to them yet again. Are they okay tankmates for stingrays?

yes cant see why not...i know of people who have a jag with rays

Thats what I thought. In my experience with them, which is limited (I had a breeding pair about 6 years ago), they were not nippy and not that aggresive as long as the other fish were big enough not to make a good snack.

Oscars are just big puppies. Your ray will hold thier own against an oscar anyway.
