Im not sure what my Oscars are doing. They are digging holes in the gravel, flapping sideways, swimming around trying to move fish out of their way. Help me figure out what they are doing are they breeding??? or is that their normal activities?? I dont know if i have a breeding pair or if i have 2 females or 2 males. How do you find that out??

You wont really know until you have viable eggs. Two females or even (less often) two males can act this way. Reicent water changes or rising water temperiture could have started it but what your describing is definatly spawning behavure.
THANK YOU!!!! WHAT DO THE EGGS LOOK LIKE AND HOW BIG DO THEY USUALLY COME??? MY GRAVEL IS BEIGE YELLOW WHITE AND A SOME BLACK ITS KINDA A MIX. WHAT IS THE FLOPPING ON THE SIDE ABOUT?????
