Oscar's diet?

I recently got a small Oscar 3”. It‘s stock with some vegi diet fishes, so will Oscars be ok eating peas/lettuce as part of its diet? It’s a predatory fish, so primary food will of course be Hirkai Gold and shrimp pellets..

My Oscar ate lettuce but its not a staple.

It won't hurt him/her but it's not beneficial, except for the peas, which will make them poop. Not that it's a problem with most oscars.
Congrats on the new aquisition, oscars are a hoot. Very interactive, a friend calls them aquatic puppies. I have a 9" rescue oscar, he was a tankbuster for somebody else(he was in a 29!)

Shouldn't be a problem with that diet. Just make sure the water is clean. 0 ammonia 0 nitrite less then 40ppm nitrate.
