Oscars Fighting? Help

today i got home to find one of my tiger oscars laying on its side with a ton of scales floating around the tank and the other oscars continuously trying to attack it they have been together since they were babies what would of set the other oscar off??? i now have a tank separator in but wtf is going on

If they're around the 9-12 month age range it's sexual maturity and the chances of it resolving itself are slim to none.
