Oscars & Fire Eels?

If the oscar is feed everyday will they still be prone to eat anything they can fit in their mouth? You guys think a full grown oscar will eat a 15" Fire Eel like a noodle?

You cannot really predict a fish. Sooner or later, it might attempt to harass another fish. I don't think though a bulky fire eel will be eaten by oscars especially if your tank has plenty of hiding places.

if the "O" is full grown...and the fire eel is 15'' then, maybe....the "O" might eat the tail or even take a nice chunk out of the head.

Full grown O, Guessing 12-14" So far he's ok other than trying to take over my Prized Dats fav spot. If that continues he may need to go anyway. But he's on probation now for a week. It's just a red oscar that I felt needed a good home. He was stuck in a 55 gallon tank at the LFS with 3 other O's a Bass and a some other ciclid

If the eel is already pretty big, I doubt the oscar will do any kind of serious harm to it, especially if it has the standard oscar behavior (meaning not a particularly mean specimen)
