So I recently had an ich outbreak in my 10 gallon. I use the same python vacuum for all of my fish tanks. I lost 4 platies and a black tetra in my 10 gallon. The fish in the 10 seem to be doing fine but now my oscars are flashing against the rocks so what do you guys think i should do? They do not appear to have ich. Also most of the fish in my 10 didn't die from ich but from secondary infections, one from fish TB, one from swim bladder, one I have no clue what killed him. I treated the 10 with aquarium salt and increased temp.

from what I have read that flashing is a sign of high ammonia , I would recomend test your water and then most likely do a 25 % water change and wait a bit then recheck your ammonia levels and after a day your O's should of stopped flashing

parasites will also cause flashing. Water quality is also another reason so I would suggest going with the advice above, testing the water, doing the water change and then watch the behavior and test your water after the water change.
