hey is it just me or is it the albino Oscars? I've purchased 2 albino Oscars for my 200 gallon fish tank and they seem to get along very fine...never fought each other nor aggressive towards each other...and I've just purchased another Oscar and they all seem to get along fine...i'm just curios because in the past my Oscars non albino would tear each other up n leave mark on one another...or is it just that the albino are alot less aggressive?

I'm assuming since you say you just got them that their babies? If babies then I am going to say normally babies get along fine. But as they age they'll start setting up a heirarchy and the dominant one will start to run the tank.

I would agree that they are being friendly/and mild tempered because they are still very small. It doesn't make a difference that they are albino, oscars are oscars.

i was wondering this also since my bro-in law has an albino that seem way less aggressive then my tiger who runs my tank

Oscars aggression is dependant on a bunch of things. tankmates from the time they were little. Size of tank. Dominance, Territory. Some people say you can't have EBJD in an Oscar tank. I've seen otherwise. I've also seen a Male convict completely punk a Full Grown Tiger Oscar. The Convict paired up and claimed 3/4 of a 6' tank. Was the funniest thing in the world for a few minutes then we caught the cons and put them in another tank.

I have kept an albino oscar with my larger tiger oscar in my 125, the larger oscar set dominance quickly, but he would only mess with the albino, i have Jack Dempsey in the same tank and the leger O never messes with the JD til this day, but my old Albino was a complete D**che towards the JD even when he was smaller.. All fish have different tempers, give em some time to see who truly is boss dog

Yeah my Albino tends to run from my Large Tiger. The Large guy has 2-3 inches on the Albino. But once my Albino gets pissed the Tiger sloshes around that tank like a Mad Man trying to get away. Then the Albino goes back to lounging behind his favorite rock.
