oscars look like they paired up

well it looks like 2 of my o's have paired up.
they are moving gravel and chasing everyone else away.

just thought i would share
i hope i have fry soon
that would be awesome!

anything that i should do to aid in this happening

congrats on the pair up, you may want to consider seperating the fry, from the parents when they become free swimming, that way you can feed and keep them easier. other than that you should be alright

From what I understand the hardest part is getting a pair. You should be selling mini oscars in the future lol.

damm maybe I need to wait to come and see ya.... JK I am sure that I will see ya again before you start getting rid of them I have wanted to buy a small school of Os for awhile but they always want like $15 here which is ridiculous IMO for an Oscar

good luck with them I had a pair of red tigers that paired up and spawned
on a piece of slate. they spawned twice. the first time they were not successful raing the eggs and they fungused. the second time I watched them spawn and when they were done I swiped the eggs and hatched them myself in a 5 gallon tank. and I raised to sellable size a couple hundred babies and sold them to the pet stores in my area. so if you want to raise them you had better have alot of tanks as they grow fast . but good luck and start hatching baby brine as the babies are big enough when free swimming to eat it .
