I actually just said something about all the Oscar threads to my wife just a few mins ago. I've always been a fan of O's and do enjoy all the recent threads.

As far as getting one, I say go for it if you have the room, they are great fish!
 
Oscars are cool fish. There like puppies gotta have one lol.

Yeah i will have the room soon so might grab one to start growing out this weekend. I do remember when i first started keeping fish every one i knew that had oscars would have one or two in a 55. Im really glad i became a member it has saved me a lot of trouble over the years

yea. really like a puppy. my oscar knows when its feeding time. and i know that other fish do so also but Os are super smart
 
Mine is the true image of a puppy, he begs when I walk into the apartment (not even in the fish room). He is the reason I don't currently have a real dog.
 
Ill prolly end up with one tomorrow if i can find a good lookjng one not a lot of options around me but there is a lfs store i found that could maybe order me a wild caught one or what ever i want i guess
