I have a 60 gallon tank i was think about putting 3 oscars in what other fish could i put in with them.. Would algae eater be fine?

You're going to have a badtime cleaning and maintaning good bacteria in that tank, you would eventually going to notice yellow cloudish water which ofcourse is harmful to your fish, not only that, you're pushing it to the extremes. 3 oscars for that tank is somehow overstack in the sense of O's needs for space etc.

60 gl is almost to small for 1 Oscar never mind 3. Whats the dimensions on the tank? if its long and low you could maybe pull of 1 Oscar for quite a while, if its tall and square type 60 its probably not going to work. A fully grown O should have 75 gl to move around in, it's just better for the fish.

+1 ... Oscars are definitely great to own but make sure you have space for them. Aside from that, if you are planning to upgrade, 3 (assuming they are only 2 inches or so) could work in a 60 for a few months (they are fast growers) most oscars are actually pretty soft compared to other cichlids. Tank mates would include anything that isnt small enough to be swallowed or anything that isnt to aggressive that its going to bully or kill your oscar.

I have 1 Oscar in a 55 and I need to get rid of him, no way you could do 3 plus other fish. Besides, they would argue constantly.

I will agree with what most of the others have said "3 simply won't work" and neither will 2, not even maybe.

Depending on the footprint however, it is possible that 1 may work, what are the measurements of the tank? Although I would prefer a larger volume of water for a solo fish like an Oscar; with the right foot print, tank husbandry and filtration you may be ok.

Oscars are like living poop factories they will push any filter to its limits and they get to be 12" sometimes larger but you should have at least a 16" footprint for an oscars whole life
