I just picked up two red Oscars really nice looking fish but as I sit and watch them that really don't fit the tank so I was going to put them in my pond in my basement room the pond is 300 g with 5 koi about 10" being the smallest and an 32" albino cat all pellet fed but the tank really dose not get any warmer then 65-70 will this be fine for them or should I try and see ? Just thought I would ask to see if anyone keeps them in colder water

Why did you get them if they don't fit ?

And no.
They might squeak by, but they will either get sick very easily, or / and stay motionless on the bottom.

Get rid of them, or heat the pond, or get a bigger tank.

I did not mean that don't fit as in size that don't look right in the tank I was asking to get someone that know about Oscars I deal in catfish more then anything and my smallest glass tank is 90g which is just fine for a 10" Oscar but it doesn't fit the looks of the tank so thay will either be going into the 300g pond in my basement (one of two) or my 180 in my living room but I don't know if my fish in the 180 will beat them up thay can be very aggressive and the tank is bio filtered (no mechanical filtration) and I don't want to comprimiz it considering the fish that are in the 180 are 150$+ fish lol

Ya, too cold. I wouldn't go any lower than 72.
