Ok, I have ID my knife as a G. carapo. LFS just said they were geting in an ossa knife for $20. I know that my carapo is one that uses electricity for site, and It is best recommended to keep electric fish separate. Is the ossa electric? I will do more research if i find out its capible of keeping with the G. C.. also I have only seen one pic of them and that was a small pic. Does anyone have any pics of ossas?

Miles, you seem to have quit a few knives! could I see a few types you have other than your clowns and bgn?

I think I want to set aside another tank for an ossa. can more then one be in the same tank? what about glass knives? can they go with eachother?

Most electrical knives will be aggressive towards each other..

The few species I know of that will live peacefully togethor are Steatygons Elegans, The 'Centipede' Knife,

and Eigenmannia virescens, the 'Glass' Knifefish, 'Electric' Knifefish, 'Green' Knifefish..

Also most the African knifefish species, but not the Aba Aba!

I will start a knifefish photo thread for ya'll ;) Stay tuned!

Cant wait till the photo thread

cool, so van the glass knife be with eather? never heard of a centopede kinfe
