I have a 75 gallon planted thats been up an running for yrs. An ive done schools of fish as well as discus over the yrs. Im looking to try something different. No more than 2-3 fish with some color that arent your everyday fish. What options do I have that will not disrupt my plants. An is not your everyday fish. Go!

German blue rams, gold rams, kribensis, electives blue rams, appistogramna cackatoo, appistogramna tri color

Could do severums. Pair of rainbow cichlids would be cool too. Never had them in a fully planted tank though.

I had a Severum in a 75 and tried adding plants, he turned into a plant wrecking machine!

...or an African Brown Knife and may be a smaller eel such as a Peacock eel. Maybe not the color factor you're looking for but a bit more unusual.

Might even be able to do the Cteno with the eel. That would be cool although I have not kept my cteno with an eel before.
