what eels are there? that do well in aqarium? Fresh water?

ive seen glass eels at the lfs in fresh water but i think they are brackish as well as G TILE

G. Polyuranodon is/can be fresh, American eel and other Anguillidae, monopterus eels

I have been looking for G POLY for so long over a year and never find them just G TILE


in canada anyone know someone or a LFS that may have G POLY? I dont understand why they are never seen. SOmeone said they saw a pair for 400 in alberta but that is insane. G TILE is usually only 20 dollars less than fire eels even.


MY LFS has something called a glass eel anyone heard or seen these?

I saw a Polyudron eel recently over here and was debating it for ages but was't exactly cheap, and since im traveling a bit this month not sure its best to buy a new fish...

Anyway, they seem to be quite rare in the hobby and command a fairly high price, G.Tiles here are equivalent to about USD $10 a piece, but that polyudron was being sold for over USD $110...
