under a bridge in fl
so my parents found an otter in their pond
they thought it was cool till they found this big tilapia and turtle and a fish head
:irked:
we are hoping he got scared off
but if he knows there is dinner why would he leave
:irked:
he could eat most of the fish in no time
and my pbass are in there too
:irked:
so has anyone ever had to deal with these guys?

Havahat trap and move him,you might need to check local regulations though.Or shoot it most states permit shooting of nuisance animals, once again have to check regs.Shame, otters are very cute but will destroy all the fish in your pond in no time.

forget that lol
when the fish are gone so is he
sure hope he leaves on his own
:irked:

I'd say if trapping him doesn't work and you can't catch him humanely dispose of him with the nearest firearm the bigger the caliber the more fun usually...:ROFL::ROFL: I'm jk about that I don't want any crazies on here calling PETA on me.;)

Id so rock an otter skin banana hammock so send him to me when you get him! Use the smallest caliber youve got cause for my banana hammock Im going to need the entire pelt!

Shame on you for giving answers like that. the animal is only doing what it does naturally and it's a native animal too. If it was an invassive or exotic like say a stray cat I would agree with you.

I suggest calling F&W and asking them for suggestions on how to trap it Sometimes they are willing to help you out with it too.
