okay this all started about a month ago so what had happened was that i had started out with blue gravel in my 29 bowfront, now i wanted some thing more natural, so i bought some brown gravel, and a under gravel filter so i spent about a day thinking bout how ill take the blue gravel out. this is what i came up with take a old coffee mug drill a few 1/8 inch holes in it, put fish in another tank, then take out gravel put new gravel in, finally put fish back in, right simple no of coarse somethin had to happen well i was about to start the process and start drilling holes well i held the cup in one hand and drilled with the other one but the drill bit got outof the started hole and within a half second there was blood coming out of my finger well at first glance i had thought i knicked my finger so i put a rag on it then the middle of my finger started to hurt then i noticed blood on the other side of my finger i immediatly cleaned it

and the best part is i didnt hit anything and it didnt hurt:headbang2:headbang2

P.S. all healed up nicely

You drilled a hole in your own finger? Ouch!! :grinno::screwy:

So now will you learn to love blue gravel?

Damn dude, thats crazy. glad it's all healed up.

awesome lol.. i did it once fishing of all places i had on a big carp and when it was close to shore it kicked around and broke the hook which shot up. i thought i broke the line. but when i followed the line to put on the new hook it was straight through my finger. nail and all. it was broke so it was almost completely staight and it just pulled out easily.

hey so did you use the coffee cup with holes in it or your hand with holes in it to remove the gravel?
Try to stay away from power tools dude!
