When we woke up this morning one of the lights that sits on top of our 300 was hanging off and our big silver aro had a nasty gash on his head. Hope he's going to be alright. He's never tried to jump before this. :/ (Okay, he did when we were moving him out of the old 300 but I would have jumped too!)

mine big tough fishy freaks and tries to jump out at night unless I use a clip on desk lamp with a blue or amber bulb when the other lights are off. If I turn everything off, the minute my head hits the pillow my aro starts his olympic high jumping practice, the light settles him. Melafix should help his gash, mine just did this 2 weeks ago. Remember, remove any carbon while treating with the melafix, I use stresscoat with it.

the aro is 24" and there is a ton of wieght because of the custom light boxes on the tank. It just moved them a little, but I may put something else up there too.

my aro has done the same as is fine the scar is slowly going away he got his gash from the center brace i was sc ared for a couple of days buyt he is fine now
