The other day our larger clown loaches decided they love cuccmber. Has anyone else found their loaches like vegatables.

That is cool, never knew clowns liked cucumber. I do know most plecos love them. This is good to know though because I will definitely be getting a clown loach or two in the near future.

Mine love Zuccini. I have 9 of them in my 180, ranging from 2 1/2" - 4". I started putting in Zuccini when I bought my Plecos. It took about a week ar two, but now my Loaches are on it faster than the Plecos.

Really,
I was feeding my 6-7'' clown loach blood worms and they were eating them well, but I noticed latley they have slowed up. What is suppose to be the best food for them? I will try cucumber.

As far as I knew clown loaches were carnivores but maybe they are omnivores. The reason we put the cucumber in was to feed our plecos. Our loaches like high protien pellets and they are supposed to eat snails. I heard the yoyo loach does a better job on snails than the clown loach.

My clowns love cucumber. Mine didn't care for zucchini or lettuce. I heard they also like broccoli, never tried that though

They fricken love cucumber over here, and zucchini, not so much the lettuce.
