Hello all,

I wanted to share something I am finding really interesting.
I bought this labeled Midas from Petsmart early 2011 and kept him
with a female during his first year. He was just too aggressive living
just them two in a 110g and would constantly control her and keep her
specifically on one side of the tank, worrying about her health we sold
her to our LFS and have kept him alone.

I want to share with you guys the difference in a fighting constantly
moving aggressive male, to where now he has been living alone
for all of 2012 and has grown considerably and he lives 100% alone
not even a pleco in my 110G. The only aggression we see is when someone
comes up to the tank and hell chase you for a little bit.

1st pic if the pair together
2nd pic is my male alone for the first time
3rd pic was taken last night and hes lived alone for a while now

His name is Sherbert and he greets everyone near our entry way
in our living room. AND THESE ARE THE SAME FISH OVER TIME.

THank you I would love input

nice male

Oh and a side note I think he might be sterile we had eggs dropped in that exact pot multiple times
and transferred to a different tank, The eggs would always go white and fuzzy. No idea if hes sterile
or just never fertilized but he sure did act like he was hed be in the pot just as much as her and would
fan also. We would wait at least 24 hours until we removed the pot. Who knows I suspect him to be
a hybrid so thats not too uncommon.

Thanks
