Does anyone know how fast these grow by the way?

great looking cat just curious were did you get him? To guess looks a lot like a leeri if growth rate is the same probably an inch or so a month. but if it grows like my attu your lookin at 2-3 inches a month. Mine grew at that speed until roughly two feet and has since then slowed way down.

I know this is a VERY old post but whatever happened w this fish? I have the chance to get a young one myself in my area and I wanted to know what became of this specimen.

IMHO, you'd be much better off starting a new thread. If you pay attention to the OP's stats: "Last Activity 10-25-2008 9:13 PM" He/she only lasted 1 year on MFK.
