good question... there are two otocinclus in there right now, there our test fish cuz when we planted it we put dirt on the bottom. possibly shrimp? open to suggestions...
 
I also have a five gallon planted tank. I keep silver tip tetras in it. I have had danios in it but they were just to active so I moved them to my bigger tank.
 
Nice tank,Im going to set up a 10 gal. planted.I was wondering what type of light you used and what plants you have also.

How about 3 woodshrimp, a dozen glass shrimp and, and 5 gold tetras (Hemigrammus armstrongi)? It would look pretty cool.

24" florenscent light fixture(2 bulb) home depot- $15
we used so many plants that we've acquired over the last year, some are: anubias, dwarf hairgrass, java moss, crypt, ludwidgia, and some other stuff to which we don't know the name...

we put in 5 small amano shrimp today from another shrimp tank
