Its the strangest thing... I had cleaned out one of my tanks and I found a flat little worm. So I thought it reminds me of a leech. I have never ever in my life had this problem. Both fish are healthy and very nice looking. I woke up with morning and turn on the light..... Its these things on the glass. They run when the light is on. I think they look more like flatworms. Its says I could have gotten them from live plants or food. It did say it will not harm my fish but if I wanted to get rid of them. Take my fish out and raise temp to 95.
Anyone had this problem? Or something like this? Nothing it wrong with either of my fish. Just turning on the tank light and seeing this is ugh!

Cut back the foods and siphon them off. They're not worth the trouble raising the temp and removing your fish (which is stressful for them).

They are a harmless part of the ecosystem in your tank.

There is nothing in this world that exists in an independent biological system, all life forms depend on other life forms. The more diversity in an ecosystem, the more complete and closer to healthy it is. Rather than be grossed out, accept them as part of the miniature ecosystem you are creating in your aquarium.

Their population numbers will increase as their food supply increases. They eat the food your fish doesn't. You can easily determine you are over feeding when you see their numbers are high.
