anyone here have any pics of there outdoor sunning cages? im looking into building one for my big iguana. but would like to see some pics first.

i might just go with a chain-link dog kennel. 5' wide, 10' long and 6' high. prob concrete the bottom then cover with dirt and re-grow grass in there

If you have the room I'd go the kennel route, used ones show up on craigslist from time to time, you might find a deal. The big footprint will allow you to use it for your Cyclura also.

On greeniguana society there are some great ideas on building thouse;)

Sorry I don't have a pic but, for my tortoises I built an enclosure using a 4x8 plywood base with wheels on it. Used 1x1's 2 feet long for sides and a hinged top then covered it in chicken wire. I did a dirt floor with plenty of places for hiding, sunning or, getting a drink. And I can roll it arround to get better sun or to clean arround it. Perfect for torts but, for a lizard you may want something stronger.

im prob just going to go with chain-link panels. simple and easy and strong. and to protect from predators from above and such ill add extra panles to the top. should keep everything else and keep the iguana in haha. just need to get the cash now haha.

Yeah dog keenels will be best, Special for your 1 big ig and ur rhino when he gets bigger, my awd ( not all wheel drive) had a 4 feet tall by 2 by 2 screen enclosure for out side, which she loved for the sun>... good luck and keep us updated

oh and btw i seen some kennels a lil smaller then the size you said for about 150 used...
