outgrow a 125 quickly? curios before maybe buying

how long would it take 2 3" pbass to outgrow my 125g? there were a couple at my lfs today and it sparked my interest(hhmm maybe its time for a change). i do have a 300g in storage but i need a bigger house to put it in. thanks in advance guys, but if it just wont work ill have to pass

No dont pass!

Only pass if there ocellaris. Theyre have drab colors.

Maybe a year to year and a half.

well one of em was a dark grey with even darker vertical lines and the other was a cream? color with dark lines. there were also 2 dead ones in the tank which was alarming plus i wont be able to set up my 300g for a couple of years

I'd say just under a yr depending on feeding and wc's.
