I was back in my hometown over the weekend and stopped into the newly opened local FS. They had a male and a female labeled as red dragon flowerhorns for $300 a piece, marked down from $500. I thought this to be overpriced to say the least, i didnt think they were breeding pair because they were seperated and priced seperatly. but wouldnt this be way too much to pay if they werent a breeding pair? I didnt not get a chance to talk to the owner who i know breeds frontosa, so these could possibly be a pair.
To be fair I am from iowa and these are the only adult flowerhorns i have seen in the area. What are your thoughts?
