So i just got back from collecting driftwood and some rocks. I think i am going to boil the rocks...Will that get they job done? Also should i use bleach?(probaly not) For the wood i am not sure what to do...I am thinking about boiling it too? I am very limited becuase i have a snobby mom that probaly wont let me do many things..lol

I would not boil the rocks. They can explode. I would test them with white vinegar. If the vinegar bubbles when you pour it on the rock, the rock is no good for the aquarium. If you really want to treat them, use bleach and then use declor to declorinate them. The wood you can scrub up good and boil to kill any nasties hiding in it.
