Because you don't have enough space in your house to fully grow out your monsters, would you consider outsourcing your fish?

Would you pay a monthly fee to a professional facility with multi big tank space to power feed, maintain, and grow your fish until they become full grown monsters? After that, you can choose to bring it home, sell it, or continue to leave it there. In the meantime, you can view and enjoy your fish on a 24/7 web cam.

Face it, you spend more time on the computer and viewing this site, than viewing your fishtanks anyway.

lol I'm at work most of my time at work is here, hopefully my bosses don't know i'm here heheh

I also usually watch my tank before i go to sleep, helps calm me down.

hmmm interesting idea. My sister keeps horses but she doesn't have the room where she lives and therefore rents stable space which she has to travel to. She does all the maintenance etc but rents the space and facilities. I have never thought of this with monster fish though. Seems strange to have to travel to see your pets.

i think it would be cheaper to just buy the fish already growed up in the first place. if it was somthing so rare that adults are imposible to come by, i dont think id trust someone else to care for it.

but, i guess if i had a giant fish and couldnt house it anymore, this might seem like an option.

I'm sitting in front of my PC right next to my crazy Flower Horn eyeballing me from the corner of his tank, the Severums are looking at me from their own tank and Bichirs are swimming about 3 inches away from my keyboard. Thank god the Discus are behind me or I'd go nuts from all this attention!!! LOL :D

You mean boarding your fish...Been there, done that.
I think this would be a good idea for certain situtions. Such as not being able to find your fish a new home and being unable to keep them or having temp space issues.

If the boarding provides all of the care it would be useful for situations where you cannot care for your fish temp such as illness and vacation.
