typically I am dried in a kiln. I'm not sure how high them temps have to be, but let's see what google says:

This implies 2000 degrees. I don't know if that's what you're looking for, but your home oven can't get anywhere near that.

Holy hell. Steel melts at 1300 degrees. You could almost make lava in that thing. I had no idea they got that hot.

Not kilm dried, OVEN dried. One site says 350 degrees.
