ive got a 29 gal. with a 3"(i think we agreed its a hap. livingstoni), a 3"golden algae eater, and 6 green sunfish from .5" - 2.5"

before the livingstoni would always hide and only come out when the light was off, now that he has 6 other fish to live with, he's always out....mainly defending 'his corner'.

when i go up to the tank to get a better look he swimms back and forth accross the back of the tank like hes trying to get away. is it me or the sunfish?

will the sunfish be too aggressive for him?

this living arrangement is only temp. until the sunnies get about 4-5" then they go in my pond....that should be around late spring early summer.

well, its been a week and a half....everything is going well. all i need now is a baby bullhead to livin up the bottom xD

i dont havepics yet, but theres two sunnies that are about 2.5" (the biggest of the bunch) andhave stayed really light tan color with black spots, all the rest have gotten darker and have bars and spots. even the H.livingstoni has darkened up and his fins are turning blue with yellow spots.

anyone think this is a sign that the two are sick or did they just get pushed out of the dark side?

they eat normal (actually too much, but all food is eatin none wasted) and act normal, just the coloration is different....and they alwaysseemto stay close to each other, and pick on the lil guys.

What kind of bullhead are you looking for?
