My peacocks always seem to overeat has anyone found a way to make sure they all get food without one of them looking like it swallowed a golf ball? They make me nervous when they eat that much because they are still rather small and fragile looking

Try feeding them smaller amounts throughout the day instead of one big meal at a time. Or you could try dropping food in at different parts of the tank, instead of one area. Not sure if you are doing these or not, but just some ideas.

Ditto.

I have been trying to hand feed frozen blood worms letting them drop slowly at different spots in the tank. My main dilemma is with the guppies they jam so many in their mouth LOL. They are growing so fast I will feel a bit safer when they get about 8 inches until then maybe I will just cut back to 20 guppies per feeding and release them in intervals as you guys suggested

Ty for the advice :)

My largemouth occasionally eats a big feeder, or a few, and they look that way. It will be fine, although I agree to feed smaller amounts more often.

I am very over protective of my babies LOL I wish I could feed more often during the day but I work most of the day so it is 1 feeding at 2:00 PM and 1 at 1:00 AM. They get guppies and a small amount of bloodworms (mainly for the silver and Danios) at 2:00 and then New life pellets, plankton, bloodworms, and beefheart at 1:00 the pbass pretty much only eat the blood worms and occasional beefheart or pellet. I wish I could vary their diet more but they are kind of picky

Try like I did with RBPs, drop one feeder in at a time.

I know what you mean. I work very long shifts, so my juvi Pbass only get fed once a day. I feed the fish off and on over about a 2 hour period as much as can be eaten. Not the ideal, but it's working. Growing like crazy.

Yup the only problem with the 1 feeder trick is the biggest bass always gets to it first that jerk:swear: cutting back to 2 dollars in guppies has helped a lot they still get fat but not fat enough to make me nervous :D
