I was feeding my channel cat some Hikari sinking wafers. And he kept swarming around looking for more...I usually just drop a couple in for him in the evening and he gets brine shrimp or blood worms in the morning.

Today he kept hunting for more food. I fed him 8 of the pellets. Now he has hid in a corner and his stomach looks bloated.

He is about 6 inches in length. Did I feed him to much?

most catfish can eat until they get that way and be fine. dont let his belly get too big.

All you have to do with big cats that overindulge is not feed them for a day or two. Once they return to "Hunting" it's time for another meal. Lucy our RTC pigs out once in a while and then fasts for a couple of days. As long as you don't make it a habbit theres no real problem. In fact it's probubly a better simulation of life in the wild.

He seems fine this morning. I just have never seen him eat like that. I hope I havent been chronically under feeding him. He was moving around this morning...I dropped a wafer in just to see if he was still hungry...he passed on it...so I scooped it out.
