Over Flow syphon

Hello,

I just recently got a 30g sump with overflow. Now the thing is it come with (2) U-tube going from the overflow box to other. my question is how can I get the U-tube to syphon the water out to the outside box and down to the sump.

any trick with this..can some one guide me step by step. What do I miss or need to do.

Here is a couple of picture how my overflow look like.

fill both sides with water then take a piece of air line and slide it up in side the U untill it reachs the top and then you suck the air out and the water will start to flow.

thanks for the help...one more question.

how do i suck the water out? what does i need to use, an vacuum it? what is the easiest way.

I also got 2 U-tube in there. so i need to do for both.

Your sucking the air out of the U tube.

Lung power.

Just do them one at a time.

Once the air is out remove the tubing and start the filter/pump.
