I putting together a tank and i was wondering if it would be over stocked.
75Gallon Tank
(1)Red terror
(1)Green texas
(1)Gold saum or Green Terror
(1)Syodontis Catfish
(5)Tiger Barbs
(1)Pleco
(2)Yellow/Pink Convicts

If u have any suggestion tell me.

you will have problems with aggression and space for all those fish you would need a larger tank

the red terror would be the problem there very aggressive and would most likely kill most of those fish

the tiger barbs would most likely be killed or eaten

Of the GT, Texas, and Red terror, you might have to just pick the one you like best and stick with just that for long term success.

It really doesn't matter what kind of fish you put in with them they are naturally aggresive and will kill your other fish including your cichlids.

I had five cichlids and then they started dying b/c one was killing them all and they had plenty of room tank wise.

I had a buddy that had cichlids too and they were doing the same as mine killing each other so he started feeding feeder fish on a regular bases.

You make it sound like it is impossible to keep a cichlid community. As long as the tank size is appropriate and the fish are on the same level of aggression, there are numerous mixes that can work.

But if I was you I would get rid of the catfish and barbs and the cichlids will probably be ok in the 75g tank.

The RT, GT, Texas, and cons will most likely not be ok in the tank together for the longterm.
