I decided to move my big girl to see how it affected my big tank. I also tried to weigh her..... lol Well, I had no choice but to use a clothes basket and even that was a little small. Hard to tell exact weight with the water involved but there's no doubt she's well over 20lbs probobly closer to 25.

Anyways, I have a midget male that's been in isolation for months after shredding a pair of my lil female midgets that have now left for thier new home, so I figured if he's that eager, why not give him a go at the big girl?

They were both moved to my pond which is basically the sump for my big tank.

The male was very excited.

The female decided she had enough......

Male seems fine. Hasn't quit eating, but has seemed to lost a little bit of intrest in persuing the big girl.

Wow she is amazing. How big is her disk diameter? Also what type is that exactly?

She's a pure Marble..... Was one of the nicest I've seen in her prime (Duckman77's old girl). The dots are like the size of raquet balls.....

She's probobly 21-22" across on a tape. Eyeballing she looks 2.5' lol.

Not sure how she's that big beings that "I dwarf my Marbles by improperly housing them"

Ha ha ha.

She sure looks great what type of a tank setup do you have or where can I read about it. I looked a little but could not find anything. I want to get some marble that's my plan if I can find a good deal on some I would like to start with those great looking rays.
