Overflow box tubing is leaking

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
im assuming silicone the bulkhead unless its broken then get a new one, are the connections leaking? if so is you tube size right for the fitting oe does it just need to be clamped?

bulkheads are design so that it doesnt need anything sealant, beside the one O-ring that is give with it.

Wipe off the puddy, then tighten the bulkheads

The bulkhead came with the tank, and I am not using it. I have an overflow box instead. I have tried siliconing the leak but didn't work. Now the putty is dried and as hard as rock. Still leaking. I should have drained the water first then put the putty on the damn thing.

I think I am going to get more putty but drain it this time first, then put it on top of the existing putty. What do you think?

OK, at first I thought the clamps were working great as it turned out the leak got worse hours after. So I finally had it with that piece of crap and tossed the overflow box. Now I am using the bulkheads and it's freaking awesome. The bulkhead's leak even disappeared.
